We are delighted and deeply honoured to announce the 3rd Edition of the CEM-SEA Excellence Awards 2026, proudly carrying forward the remarkable legacy of Edition 1 (2024) and Edition 2 (2025) Over the past two editions, we have celebrated and honoured 113 distinguished awardees in the esteemed presence of eminent academicians, researchers, innovators, startup leaders, and entrepreneurs from across South India.

The CEM-SEA Excellence Awards 2026 – Edition 3 is a prestigious initiative dedicated to recognizing and celebrating exceptional contributions in the fields of Commerce, Economics, Management, Startups, and Entrepreneurship. These awards honour educators, researchers, mentors, innovators, startup founders, entrepreneurs, and patent holders whose dedication and excellence continue to inspire progress through education, innovation, leadership, and social impact.

Who Can Nominate?

Eligibility: 

Academician Excellence Award

•     Faculty Members, Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Professors, HODs, Principals, Deans, and Academic Administrators in Commerce, Economics, Management, Business       Administration, Finance, Marketing, HRM, and related fields.

•     Minimum 1 year of teaching, research, or academic administration experience.

•     Must be associated with a recognized educational institution.

•     Supporting Document: Resume/CV.

Startup / Innovation / Patent Holder Award

•     Founder, Co-Founder, CEO, Managing Director, or representative of a registered startup with a minimum of 1 year of operation.

•     Open to academicians, researchers, professionals, institutions, and innovators.

•     Must have developed an innovative product, process, technology, teaching methodology, or social innovation.

•     Patent holders/co-holders (granted or published patents) are eligible.

•     Patent Registration/Application Number and supporting documents are required.

Entrepreneur Excellence Award

•     Founder, Co-Founder, CEO, Managing Director, or Entrepreneur of a registered business venture.

•     Business enterprise should have completed a minimum of 1 year of operation.

•     Supporting Documents:

•     Business/Startup Registration Certificate no.

•     Udyam Registration (if applicable)

Selection Process:

1. Self-Nomination / Application Submission Open to:

•  Faculty Members

•  Research Scholars

•  Startup Founders

•  Entrepreneurs

•  Patent Holders

   (No application fee for submission)

2. Scrutiny and Evaluation
   Applications will be reviewed by the Jury Panel.

3. Selection & Communication
   Eligible awardees will be officially informed.

4. Awardee Registration Fee
   Selected awardees are required to pay a nominal fee of Rs. 5,000/- which includes:
